Born in the hills and honed by the weather of the Peak District, Sprayway has been trusted by walkers and outdoor enthusiasts of all ages for over forty years.
In Autumn/Winter’17 we celebrate this heritage by reimagining one of the most iconic emblems of the UK outdoor industry and pillar of our past success, the Orange Arete. Subtly tweaked and updated for the modern Sprayway, the Arete represents technical excellence and authenticity, giving our customers the confidence and inspiration to venture into the most beautiful and breath-taking spaces.
More and more people are choosing to spend their leisure time in the outdoors. It is our job to ensure they remember time spent with friends enjoying the views and vistas, instead of the cold, wind and rain. It is a job we have enjoyed since 1974, and one that we are excited to take on again this season as we move into this new chapter in our story.
Inspiring your outdoor since 1974
Offering incredible versatility, our insulation range has a style to suit everyone. The men’s Mylas and women’s Lark, with their DWR treated down, can be worn as an outer jacket to take the bite out of a cold crisp morning, or stashed away in a rucksack to be slipped on as an additional layer while summiting a favourite mountain. This season, we have continued to keep the range focused with the addition of three new styles for men and women. The men’s Kimo, Aldan and women's Nuna Jacket and Vest build on our successful DWR down story, whilst the Rador and Selen utilises our new blown synthetic insulation for increased durability and down-like feel.
Whether on a long walk in the heaviest rain, or a cold day in the hills, our range of GORE-TEX® clothing can be relied on to give premium level protection against the elements. Based on the success of AW16, we have developed our range again this season with the addition of two new styles. For men there is the Nant a lightweight, 2-layer jacket perfect for long rainy days on the trail. For women there is the Eris, offering supreme waterproofing in even the worst of the British weather.
For AW17, we have focused on sourcing high quality fleece fabrics for great warmth and comfort in colder weather, at an extremely low weight. Simple features and a superior fit make these perfect as a mid-layer in a classic outdoor layering system when facing strong winds in the hills, they are stylish enough to be worn on their own on colder days in town. Our brand new Maya hoody is our warmest thermal yet, with a luxurious warm bonded 300 weight fleece whilst the men’s Manx combines lightweight microfleece through the arms and knitted 200 weight fleece in the body for core warmth where it’s needed most.
Designed with performance in mind, our new Roola and Kara base layers use 50:50 Merino wool to create a lightweight garment that offer supreme next to skin comfort and work alongside our thermal, shell and insulation options to create the perfect outdoor layering system.
