At Sprayway we have our own dreams. We are driven by what inspires us and we share the same passion for the outdoors and hunger for adventure as you.

Introducing Belgian explorer, endurance athlete and phographer; Dixie Dansercoer.

Dixie holds records for high altitude mountain biking, windsurfing, ultramarathon running and expedition film-making. IPGA Master Polar Guide, Author of 27 books & 5 Documentary films. 


Introducing Gaz, Photographer and Mountain Goat.

Outdoor lover, tripod lugger! Award-winning adventure photographer, Gaz loves to show through his shots you don’t need to travel to the end of the world to find true beauty.

With Snowdonia in his back garden, it would be rude not to spend his free time there, whether it is on the mountains hanging off the side of them or deep inside them!


Meet Tom and Rebecca, Founders of @BambuuBrush.

Since launching in January 2019, @BambuuBrush has taken them across the world educating children in schools about the importance of sustainable products and recycling. Whilst on their travels, they have been testing out Trekmates products in a variety of different climates and terrains.

@BambuuBrush has already been purchased in over 44 different countries across the world. Confirming @BambuuBrush’s target of making this a global movement of making ONE SIMPLE CHANGE, we plan to tick off all 196 countries excluding sanctioned counties of restricted trade. In December 2019 they announced that they have sold over 1 million tooth brushes. 


Meet Solo Hiker Teddy.

After working internships in Munich, Teneriffe and Amsterdam Teddy started his first adventure “Te Araroa” in New Zealand (15/16) a 3000km hiking trip to the southern tip.

Two years late Teddy then hiked “Norge pa langs” or “the length of Norway” which is a 2700km unmarked trail. At the end of last year he flew to Australia and though “I’m going to hike the longest marked trail in the world” The Bicentennial National Trail a 5300km horse, bike and hiking trail along the east coast to the east coast and great dividing range.

After hiking the Australian Alps walking track (680km) I decided to walk from Melbourne to the most north tip Cape York. He hiked 5000km in 5 months which was the hardest track to date. In between Teddy has hiked several short tracks in the Alps and his home region “Rhon”.

In the future Teddy has 3 more lengthy hikes: the length of Japan, the great Himalaya  Trail and the Patagonia Trail.


Meet overlanding duo Lisa Morris and Jason Spafford.

Lisa is a freelance contributor for travel, overland and lifestyle publications worldwide. Jason’s skillset embraces the visual storytelling, including aerial photography and cinematography.

Adventuring as media professionals since 2000, There unique selling point is that they are permanently out on location. Spring 2019 to date: a 4WD expedition through the Scottish Highlands, Scandinavia, Iceland and the Faroe Islands and down the African continent @fourwheelednomad


Introducing Dani Robertson co founder of Surf Senioritas.

Dani has not only co founded of the Surf Senoritas aiming to get more women in the sea surfing. She also encourages women to mountain climb, hike and all other things sea and water related. On top of this she also works for Snowdonia National Park and the AONB’s of Anglesey, Pen Llŷn and the clwydian range and Dee valley as a Dark Sky Officer protecting the night sky. This includes running lots of outdoor events, taking people star gazing, on bat walks and owl talks.



Meet Glyn, full time adventurer and blogger.

The face behind the award winning blog Hill-Walking for the Over 60’s and Outdoor Personality of the Year Nominee. He has walked all over the UK, Europe & Middle East, particularly in Scotland, Wales, Yorkshire, Derbyshire and Cumbria. Throughout his walking life he has preferred the High Ground to the lowlands and this passion continues. He has taught Hill Navigation, Mountain Craft and Survival Techniques to the Scouts and Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme.


Meet Hev, Full time adventurer and outdoor instructor.

Hev has just completed a turtle project in Costa Rica in August. She is then off to  the alps/Écrins for some climbing/mountaineering and then off to the Isle of Skye at the end of August to do the Cuillin and a few other climbs/scrambles. 

She is currently working towards some higher level mountaineering awards so will be out in the mountains a lot this Autumn and spending a good few weeks in Scotland over Winter.


Meet Coral, Surfer, paddleboarder, and adventurer.

Coral spent this summer rafting the Colorado river. 227 mile trip through the Grand Canyon. Then onto Scotland for a road trip in October.


Meet Ben, The Jurassic Dad.

British Cold Water Body Surfer – Husband – Father – Ocean Conservation Enthusiast – Slyde Team Rider – Kitvision UK – DafinKitvision Ambassador and dad blogger inspiring dads to get outdoors. Ben’s motivation for this Jurassic Dad comes from his own experiences and a love of trying new adventures and sharing his passion for the outdoors with his two daughters, Ruby and Lily.


Introducing Nic, Hiker Nerd and Sprayway Junkie.

Nicole can usually be found on long walks across Snowdonia, Scarfell Pike and Ben Nevis with her dog. She spends most her weekends on mini adventures.



Meet Rehna, youth worker and Outdoor enthusiast.

Rehna wanted to be a mountain leader so she could instigate change in her local community in her role as a youth worker for Lindley Educational Trust (one of Sprayway long term partnerships). Ashton Youth Club has a real focus on outdoor education and offers teenagers of all backgrounds to participate in a range of activities, from climbing to kayaking. These outdoor experience gives those involved the opportunity to build essential life skills: communication, team work and confidence.

Ellie and Lucy Proctor

Meet Shredder Sisters, our youngest ambassadors around.

8 year old Ellie and her 5 year old sister Lucy spend most weekends ripping up the mountain bike trails across the UK.

Ellie, is currently learning how to jump and loves any technical trails. She started riding at 18 months old on a balance bike and pedalled after 3 years old – never using stabilisers!

Lucy, loves riding the hills in Scotland, she was riding a balance bike as soon as she could walk then jumped straight to the pedals at 3. Other than riding, she loves to help her Grandad on his farm in North Yorkshire.

Meet Simon, Plasterer by day, Adventurer by night.

With Snowdon on his doorstep, Si spends most his time adventuring through the hills with his family whether its climbing, walking or cliff diving he can usually be found exploring somewhere in Wales.

Andy, Gee and Kat.

Meet Kat the Cat and his 2 humans: Gee and Andy.

Andy and Georgina, two engineers with a love for the great outdoors, who take every opportunity they can to get out and see the world with their Adventure Cat.

Whether it’s climbing, cycling or running local trails, or travelling for further flung adventures, they are passionate about being outdoors. Lovers of life, they are on a mission to experience as much as possible, and see as much of the world as they can.
