Old Harry Rocks, Dorset

This wonderful winter walk is another which will provide views all too familiar to any postcard purchaser.

It is also is one of major contrasts: still woodlands; the sea; sheer cliffs; the sea; a gentle climb; high winds; Bournemouth, Poole and Swanage all visible but sufficiently distant; then the sea again followed by a steeper decline; Poole Harbour then finally pub and a log fire.

Winter Walks 14 - Morte Point, Devon

Another Devon walk from our friend's at the National Trust, this one follows the South West Coast Path to the stunning Morte Point.

We found it was exhilerating in winter with the power of the sea clear for all to sea, however it would probably be equally as breathtaking in mid-summer.

Winter Walk 6 - Saxon Shore Way

The Saxon Shore Way took us some time to sample, due to it being so far from HQ, but eventually it was done and well worth the wait. It traces the coast as it was in Roman Times and our favourite cestion was from Faversham to Whitstable, Kent.
